Interests

I live life to the fullest, and then write about it! You will find me in the great outdoors, at the beach, the mountains, parks, anywhere with an open sky... especially with my kids, friends and family. Interests? Travel. Hilarious happenings... I love it when something makes me laugh until the tears come rolling down. Spending time with my best girlfriends, making fun of ourselves. Music, writing song lyrics, reading, writing, watching well-recommended movies (I hate wasting time on the duds!) Really, anything that seems like an adventure to me, is what gets me going! That is, adventures that fall within my conservative thought processes. We are NOT talking tattoos and alternative lifestyles here! Just good, clean fun!

Favorite Music

Too many to choose from! Some good ones are Skillet, Kutless, Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Newsboys, The Fray, TOBY mAC, Matt Redman, David Crowder, Supertones, POD... those are my Christian picks. But, I also love the oldies: especially 80's music, and depending on my mood, I listen to Reggaeton, R&B, Country, Hip Hop, Alternative, Rock... whatever! Like I said, I'm an adventurous spirit!
 

Favorite TV Shows

not much time for this, either! But when I do, I watch reality shows/competitive shows like American Idol, So, you think you can dance?, Celebrity Apprentice... and I love the comedy-action show "Chuck." Chuck will be back in the fall, and I can't wait!

Who in your life is worthy of a love song? : Jun 12, 2008
I like this song that is currently on my profile "I'm not gonna write you a lovesong, today."  It is so true that most people don't live up to our expectations.  No matter how hard they try, you try, or I try, someone will eventually do something to bring hurt into a relationship.  So, the question is not "who is perfect enough to deserve a love song?"  Because nobody can ever be perfect.  The question is not "who is on my current top 10 list of friends?"  Because that list changes over the years.   

The question is, "overall, who in your life is worthy of a love song?"  I don't just mean romantic love songs, I mean, who has basically been there for you.  Who picks you up when you are down?  Who sincerely apologizes and seeks forgiveness from you when they have done you wrong, rather than walk away for good.  Who do look to for advice?  Who comes toward you, who comforts you in the face of adversity, when others run and hide?  

I'm curious.  Who in your life is worthy of a love song, today?

Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. They are always greatly appreciated. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers as always. And yes, you are right. It is during these times that He does make us stronger. Today, I was given the courage to face my concerns, and it turned (as always) the devil is a liar, and was just putting stuff in my head. Like a good friend of mine said, I was thinking too much with my head and not enough with my heart. And it turned out he was right. Hallelujah! Praise God that we do have the victory! Continue to pray for me that God shows up and shows out on Resurrection Sunday (Easter Sunday). I am praying for something wonderful to happen and it would be awesome to have someone praying with me. Thank you so much. You are truly a blessing to me. If you ever need me, just let me know. I pray God's blessings over you and yours. I pray that He keep you in the palm of His hand, and that His blessings just pour from the heavens upon you. I pray that He put a hedge of protection around you and your son. Hallelujah!
